Abstract
This study analyzes the role of agrotechnology (agritech) startups in modernizing agriculture and
improving economic efficiency. The fact that agriculture comprises 27% of Uzbekistan's GDP and 48% of the
population lives in rural areas creates enormous market opportunities for agritech startups. Agritech directions —
digital farming, water-saving technologies, online trading platforms, and rural credit services — are examined.
